[Radiant] Simple question about images

Hi everyone -
 
Just a simple question.
 
Where do I upload the images that I wish to use on my Radiant site?
At the moment they are all stored in a folder called images.
 
Do I upload these to the radiant folder on my hosting server or the
folder that I sym-linked it to?
